"What! You Don't Like Tofu?" Stir-fry
Chloe L. (original recipe)
I lived in Montana for a year and I loved it there though it might be too cold for permanent human habitation IMHO.
All my friends from school moved away to big cities but we eventually went to Montana instead. You may think it's cool, being the black sheep, but honestly it can be a little tiring and, more recently, lonely. I can't change who I am but it ain't an easy path.
Living in Montana gave me a new perspective on distances and the cold. The roads are long and straight (great visibility) and pretty empty (MT!) so there is the tendency to speed. I think I was casually driving 100 MPH and my girlfriend at the time looks over suspiciously to see how fast we were going. And then I remember we shot a scene in the backyard and I had to remove my gloves to operate the camera and it was so cold I refused to do more than one take.
We moved back East because we had a better support network here so I thought, but really that's when it all fell apart. I will always wonder what would have happened if we'd stayed in Montana longer.
I am running out of words but I will observe, a tofu stir-fry? From Montana? Who is pandering to whom!
